Kajikawa Masanori (梶川正教)

Masanori KAJIKAWA was a busho (Japanese military commander) in the Sengoku period to Azuchi-Momoyama period. He was a vassal of Nobunaga ODA. He was a son of Masatsugu KAJIKAWA.

Kajikawa clan was a branch family of Oda clan and its original surname was Taira clan, but an adopted child from Kusunoki clan entered in the line several generations before Masanori.

He was in the vanguard in the battle against Yoshiaki ASHIKAGA who had risen in revolt at Makishima-jo Castle, and he was rewarded with a letter of commendation for taking part in the battle and a fine horse.
